What is our charism ?
The Apostolic Fraternity of Saint Benedict-Joseph Labre is received from the Merciful Father who out of love for us sent his Only Son to save us. He took on the flesh of the Virgin Mary and offered himself as a victim of propitiation for our sins. Risen from the dead, Jesus the Christ transmits the Holy Spirit who gives Life and sanctifies, thus realizing the Merciful Mystery of the Father. This is why the Apostolic Fraternity of Saint Benedict-Joseph Labre sees itself in turn sent by the Son under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit for the revitalization and growth of Catholic communities through the establishment of an ecclesial renewal open the callings of the Spirit in the Church.
It is with special attention that the members of the Apostolic Fraternity of Saint Benedict-Joseph Labre dedicate themselves to the discernment of priestly vocations, to the Christian formation of communities, to the discernment and exercise of charisms and ministries in the Diocesan Church. The Apostolic Fraternity of Saint Benedict-Joseph Labre pursues the goal of evangelical renewal. Faithful to Saint Benoît-Joseph Labre, adoration and the Mystery of the Eucharist will be at the heart of their apostolate and of a new look at the Father.
Members will welcome non-believers by presenting a testimony of life and a solicitude worthy of Christ. They will take care of the baptized, especially the most needy, as the beloved of the Father.
